"I never thought I’d be “the kind of person” to pay for an interior designer. But after building a brand new home and making all of the selections myself, there are certain decisions I already regret.

Now I realize interior designers aren’t just for people with endless money to spend! If I had worked with an interior designer who’s style I loved from the start, I could have saved myself some very expensive mistakes (a paint color I regret, brand new tile that I already want to change, etc).

Now I know when I start trying to customize a room, putting a little extra money up front can help me prevent the mistakes I’ve made before and help me achieve a more cohesive look. Working with Megan was great – she listened carefully to what I was looking for and came back to me with a design I loved for every space we were working with, with things I never would have known how to pull off on my own! I’m so glad I went with the “sourcing” packages, because it made it so easy for me to just go down a list and buy things, or to budget for the items I’m not ready to purchase but plan to do later.

Her renderings helped me see exactly how the designs would look in my space, and the designs were timeless so that I don’t feel like I’ll be tired of anything in 5 years. She kindly steered me away from “trends” I thought I liked but that probably have an expiration, and used more timeless ways to achieve my same desired effect. I finally feel like my house can feel like a home thanks to her, and that she gave me the perfect palette to also bring in my own personal touches through the years."
